NAVY

The Australian Navy provides maritime forces that contribute to the ADF’s capacity to defend Australia, contribute to regional security, support global interests, shape the strategic environment and protect national interests.

AIRFORCE

The Australian Air Force employs about 14,000 men and women, which is also supported by 4,000 Air Force reservists and close to 800 civilian public servants, including 11 major Air Forces basis across Australia.

ARMY

Since 1901, the Australian Army has served Australia both home and abroad, protecting Australia’s interests deterring and defeating threats and helping Australia and other countries in times of need.

WELCOME TO JOINT DEFENCE

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) is the military organization responsible for the defence of Australia.

It consists of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Australian Army, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and a number of – Tri-Service’s units. The ADF has a strength of just over 80,000 full time personnel and active reservists, and is supported by the Department of defence and serval other civilian agencies.

Joint Defence offers literature referring to latest technical development, that has been initiated in all three wings of defence being: Army, Air Force and Navy. The literature provided by Joint Defence has been presented in a Digital Publication.

The literature has been developed by journalists, keeping in concern the topics that are strictly initiated for the Australian Armed Forces.

Joint Defence has been strongly developed for Airman, Sailor, and Digger serving in the Australian Defence Force. The environment has been developed not only for existing serving troops, but also for those who have served in the Australian Defence Force in both past and current international conflicts.
